Formed on February 9, 1947, at a meeting chaired by the national president of the Association, Mr. Boleslaw Czubak, the branch was to initially hold its meetings at the church hall at St. Joseph's parish. In the mid-sixties the meetings were moved to the premises of Group # 10 of the Polish Alliance of Canada. Branch #4 never had its own building but this did not stop it from participating in scores of events and fund-raisers for a variety of causes and enjoying a leadership role in its community.
